Race season is upon us, do you know what to eat to perform your best? What specific nutrients and foods are best specifically for women when training? What is your typical night-before-the-race meal? Is gorging on that big bowl of noodles your best option for carb-loading? What about snacks during the race? And which foods will help you recover the quickest? Race weekend nutrition can be tricky, but never fear, we are ready to help you find answers!

Natalie Bickford, holistic nutritionist and personal chef, will be our guide. In addition to providing personal chef, personalized meal planning and recipe development services, Natalie also worked as the Cookbook Assistant on both Run Fast. Eat Slow and Run Fast. Cook Fast. Eat Slow. Natalie helped develop and test whole-food based recipes designed for athletes, working alongside Chef Elyse Kopecky and world-class marathoner, and winner of the 2018 NYC Marathon, Shalane Flanagan. She was also Shalane's personal chef in the months leading up to last years Boston Marathon.
